I was hoping for more modern warfare. But it's COD so it can't be that bad.

You shouldn't do, CoD4 didn't require an uber-powerful system, besides I've come to realise that Crysis is a "special case", its in a league of its own due to the unique engine it runs on -it simply sucks up all the resources your system has to offer and then burps back in your face.

Its a great game and yes it looks beautiful but it just doesnt make sense that in order to run it you need to have much more gpu/cpu processing power than you would need to run any other game..

You certainly took your time realizing that. After paying no heed to what everyone here was telling you, the truth eventually dawned on you. The Crytek engine sucks and seeing an uber system perform well in it just makes it look more ridiculous.

Oh come on, i'm not completely daft. Of course I have always known that Crysis is a ridiculously demanding game, but its not until you've had a chance to play a few other demanding PC games like World in Conflict, Bioshock, and Supreme Commander that you really begin to realise how Crysis compares even to them, its in a league of its own - a very special case.

You really have to have an especially built rig to play Crysis on high/very high settings and another rig for playing everything else.

-Personally i think its a conspiracy - instigated by Nvidia.

I bet Nvidia bankrolled Crysis' development as both a showcase for its products and to purposefully fuel GPU sales.

Think about it - its scary but it makes sense... ITS ALL JUST ONE BIG CONSPIRACY ARGGH!!!

i'd rather have some more modern warfare as well, 3 world war2 games were enough and the 4th is really cool
