dude, don't give them ideas... !

Actually, I have to come clean, I really liked TOCA 3 and I've been waiting for the next installment for some time so I went out and bought GRID - NEW - From the shop But this game is so good I'm not even sorry!! - There you have it

- In my defense though I was given some gift vouchers and it made sense to use them and get a discount on something I actually wanted - Shame on me!!

(I'm a bit of a racing nut actually, I promise It won't happen again - if I have to buy only one Games for Windows title, then this is it...well, it certainly beats playing the demo again & again )

I would already own the full version if it weren't for the fact that I'm recovering from some heavy repair cost on my car. I had to put out a few hundred dollars this past month for parts and need some time to take care of immediate bills before spending anything on 'fun' items. But, this game is right at the top of the list of games I want to get when I get enough funds on hand again. In the meantime, I can practice the Drifting to try to get the hang of it. Otherwise, I'm doing pretty well in the races.

EDIT: As of last night I found out it's going to be even longer now before I can buy this game. The heater core on my car started leaking and the car overheated. No permanent damage was done, but, I had to pull the heater hoses off the heater core and use a separate connector to bypass the heater for the time being. Heater cores are running from $100 to $150 just for the replacement....and no labor.
