None at all so far. All I've done is install the offiical patches for the game.

Once I started playing again, I can't stop. LOL! I've made it up to Assault where the AA guns have to taken out and the harbor cleared. The game is really intense!

yeah good game sucks that its this heavy on the hardware....
your real frame drop will happen soon enough in the snow part of the game.(lowering shaders and shadows have the biggest effect on frame rate in that level fyi ) good luck with the game i know i liked it..

One of the coolest gaming moments ever for me took place tonight in CRYSIS.

I've had some nice moments during my gaming and there are a few that still stick in my memory. This will likely be one of them.

As Nomad is making his way to the Mine Entrance with the Objective to Clear the LZ, there's a lot of mayhem going on on the ground. The Koreans are scattering, the rocks are falling from the mountain, and there are still a few of the Koreans trying to keep Nomad from completing his job.

As Nomad makes his way down the winding dirt road, there are a couple of large dumpsters on his left. Using the Cloak feature, he uses the dumpsters to hide his position while recharging his suit for the next run. (My Nomad does a LOT of crawling to preserve the energy of the Cloak.)

So, while lying prone at the second dumpster, he takes notice that about a half dozen Koreans are moving up from the lower valley on their way to intercept him. But, above their approach are three large cable spools [those HUGE wooden round spools with the cable on them]. And, right behind one of them is an explosive barrel.

So, taking aim with the sniper scope, he fires off a round and hits the explosive barrel. It lights up and, in just a few seconds there a big explosion. AND, all three of those huge spools begin rolling....down the hill....toward the oncoming Koreans.

ONLY....they aren't 'oncoming' any longer. LOL! When they take note of those huge spools rolling down the hill toward them, they turn around and begin running the other way! A couple of them get flattened before they can get out of the way.

I wish I could have captured this on video. It was one of those 'make my day' moments in gaming.

I'm at - to me is the most annoying part of the game - the place where Prophet shows up to help fight off the drones and gets his suit damaged. I'm not getting a big slowdown in the performance of the game, but, I am NOT fond of these 'keep your partner alive while you keep dying' scenarios in the games. I say, "It's every man for himself!" LOL!

But, honestly, I would probably smash eggs in the face of whoever came up with this idea if I ever meet them over coffee.

i have played through several times now and i kinda dig that part though it did seem really tough at first.

you are coming to one of my favorite parts of the game where you have to ride down a mountain and shoot flying creatures down. it's not so much the gameplay there i love as it is the environment. half green jungle, half snow and high winds with a few twisters here and there. what a delicious and terrible scenario!
