FPS HELP > Counter-strike on Sapphire x1950 PRO 512mb

Hi,
Im using a Sapphire Radeon X1950 PRO 512MB GDDR3 AGP and having major fps drops in Counter-Strike 1.6.
I've tried alot of different drivers, even NGO's. NGO work better then all of the other drivers, but there's still FPS drops which destroys the fun in the game. I play that game kinda serious and I have to get rid of the drops.
I've been searching the boards but no result for my problem, so now I ask you people.
Does anyone know WHY i get these fpsdrops to ~50-60?
The strange thing is, I can stand in 1-2 smokes without fpsdrops. But as soon as there is 2-3 players on the screen or a long distance corridor it starts dropping.

My Computer
CPU - Intell Prescott 3,0ghz
MEM - 2x 512ddr Kingston
GFX - Sapphire Radeon X1950 PRO 512MB GDDR3 AGP
MB - MSI 865PE NEO2-P
PSU - 450w

Lol... DUDE !!! maybe is because your refresh rate are locked or something like that !!Or your refresh rate of your screen are 60 hz and because of the vsync thats lock it ! DUDE 50-60 fps IS AN ****ING good frame rate lol for the eye see an LAg it's need to be drop to < 30 ! lol 50-60 fps is fluid dude !!!

My refershrate is locked at 100hz @ 800x600 with vsync ON. Gives me 100fps but drops.
Counter-strike is a game where you need 100fps all the time, otherwise all weapons will fire slower and your recoil gets ****edup.
All my friends got 100fps all the time and my card should give me that also.

A human notice drops from 100fps to 60fps... even to from 100 > 70-80.
Atleast in Counter-strike.

Ok dude... You re special but we had no difference to 60 - 100 lol dude... maybe your Fps are erroned lol ... dude i played to Cs1.6 and with 60 fps is really ok lol ... if you say to 60 fps you have lag you are just an freak !!! lol well... maybe your fps are erroned or download ati tray tools And when you finished to install it go on it and you have an option Refresh lock ... So put all in max and it's suposed to works ! ...

And an resolution of 800 X 600 is soo ugly haha Put it 1280 X 1024 i do that and 60 fps ... is good frame rate and the graphics are better lol !

I HAVE 100 FPS BUT IT DROPS DOWN TO 50-60. Yeah Exacly DROPS DOWN TO.
My refreshrate is already locked and i have 100fps. The problem is that it drops down.

Ok dude i dont smoke weed is you SMOKE weed at 60 fps is not suposed had any LAG ANYWAYS !!! lol check doom 3 the fps is locked max 60 fps max .. and its dont lag ! lol but i think more is because yours fps are erroned !! just that ... and is when the last time you format your pc ?

This isnt doom 3, this is counter-strike 1.6 (NOT CS:SOURCE).
And yes, anyone notice drops from 100 to 60 in counter-strike because everything slows down. Your movement, recoil, even the rate of your shots in machineguns. They shot slower with lower fps.
This isnt like any other game, its ****ed up... Thats why I have to get 100fps all the time. 60fps isnt an option.
And the game does view my fps correct, even without fpstrackers I can feel that it drops.
So stop bullshitting me about that i cant feel differens from 100fps to 60fps when im playing.

We have not problems if that's drops down because if your refresh rate are locked the fps are not lol !

Ok... well i calmed down ... try to check in your system if your memory are not alowed to cache... and check yours setings ... AA, A-AA Anisotropy ect... after ... if you have an registry optimiser (like win aso ) clean your registry ... and speed up your system maybe that's will fix your problems... and your videocard are wich brand ?

Ok i see is an sapphire ... Go on the website of sapphire and go on theirs forums and check if other gamers of cs had this problems ... if yes ... try to found how fix that
