The channel should be irc.gamesurge.net #NGOHQ now. This channel is registered. FreeNode was too much of a pain.

The simplest way would be to download mIRC. After it's downloaded and Installed, run it. A screen will pop up, then enter your info (only the nick and alternative have to be real). Click on Servers (right below connect) and find GameSurge. hit select and it will pop back to the first screen. Hit "Connect to server". When it connects a channel list will pop up. First thing you may want to do is uncheck "Pop up favorites on connect" and make sure "Enable join on connect" is checked. Then click Add. For channel name type #NGOHQ then at the bottom under networks find GameSurge again and click add. Check "Join on connect" (same box, under options). Click OK then click join.
Next time you run mIRC the server should be selected already so hit "Connect to server" then it will auto join the channel.
Once you get it set up for the first time it's really easy to use. Give it a try!  | |

I have been marked away on MSN for over 4 years and those that know me know when to contact me. I see no reason to keep this thread open and Regeneration can change that if he wishes but this thread is closed Bro ..
