hi rege

i have seen that you have much problems with deleting spam
from your site

why dont you put a activation over email for new users to avoid spamers???
or to have little revenge
(becouse activation need valid email to be activated)

There is activation email and even image verification. These spammers are humans and not bots; we already took care of the bots problem.

but can you report them like a spamer on thears email server or something to avoid spam(to stop them)

They are running their own mail servers and sometimes they are using free services. Some ISPs are not doing anything about it.

Why do the post headings still show up when the post itself has been removed? When I view the Forum page, I still see three instances of this iPod for sale post. But, it doesn't exist when I go to the thread. ???

If a member is removed sometimes the title and blank thread remain. These have to be managed or removed as well .. which section Dyre drop me a line

See the prob that forum hasn't had any new threads or posts in a while and that last post on that thread is the last displayed in the subforum queue. Started a new thread and cleared it

Rege is right see this is a Public Forum and if a user signs up with a valid email in an IP range that isn't banned we have to wait and see if they post spam or not. Then take action. Spam sucks and some lil boys need girlfriends lol
