missing thread

i just purchased 2 evga 7800 gtx ko cards and
unfortunately my motherboard (asus p5wd2 premium) is not sli ready
i was following a thread here about the sli patch for nvidia video cards.
and now the entire thread is gone!
i posted a reply and that is gone.
i originaly found the thread with google and now, no luck. just a dead link.
can anyone tell me what happened?
