Default Some Questions ...
- why are Avatars disabled?

- why are Smileys disabled?

- why is are Signatures disabled?

- please switch the threadview to the standard mode (can be done via Admin CP)

Take this as suggestion

Are, I found out why ... Smilies, Pictures, Signatures etc. are disabled by default in everyones Profile. You should change that for all users IMHO, via Admin CP (MySQL Queries).

Disable smilies unchecked here no smiles .. everything else is working ... check your usergroup permission defaults ...
