 I think the surveys were better on main page
Just my two cents but i prefered seeing the surveys up there instead of the really dated articals that next to never change.
Plus the surveys enticed readers to participate in the forums and personally i stay at ngo for the community, conversation and debate, really the news is secondary to all of that and I have been finding lately that there is less and less people partaking in conversation or debate on news topics.
I think the surveys, if only in a small way, helped to get people to participate in the forums which i think is more importent then old articles that could be displayed anywhere.
Furthermore, i believe that you need to find ways to get more people to partake in the forums, like i said there are very few people talking and quite frankly its starting to get a little bit dull around here. |
