Once a thread is opened, to get to a different thread requires clicking through too many hoops to get back to the main News.
I hope the final configuration makes it much easier.
Personally, however, I really don't even care for the present configuration at all. I'd rather be able to read all the posts without having to click any 'expand' button to do so. But, that's just me.

#5 | | Site Staff | The new layout for news post is undone yet. I enabled it to collect feedback. So here is the upcoming change list:
* Make all comments opened by default.
* Remove auto-collapse by clicking on "Posted by $username" feature.
* Add "Go back" button to return to the previous page.
* Fix design flaws.
* Limit comment's width.
* Make all comments linkable to the "VIEW SINGLE POST" template.
Is there anything else, please let me know.

I just tried to do that with the last post I made in the "**** threatens NGOHQ....." thread with my screenshot and there's no way to do that. I was going to respond to your PM with the post and it doesn't work that way....yet.

#9 | | Professional Member | I see that some people here are very conservative, lets just wait and see the new style that regeneration is building and then give an accurate opinion. I like changes, especially when they are visible (avoiding to say radical), it gives us a new perspective of how things are.
The new's section really looks like a new's section now, it has its own visual now. |
