A better idea would be for you to head over to BleepingComputer.com for some help cleaning up your malware infected computer...

if you can't correctly configure IE you shouldn't use it. Even opera would be better than IE7 "out of the box". At the VERY minimum IE needs:

IE7pro with a real adblock list
something similar to TeaTimer from SpyBot Search and destroy
run in a sandbox or with HIPS running

I already HAVE, IE7 Pro, use SpyBot S&D, use AD-Aware SE, and there is NO Malware, Spyware, or any viruses on my system.

Simply put, I still do not like FireFox...period!

FYI, I have nearly 30 YEARS of experience with computers.
