#3 | | Golden Member | I expected more, being a Nazi-Pitt-Tarantino combo. I was mildly upset to find that Nazi hunter in the lead role and it would have made sense if that Jewish chick was the one who clipped him, but he even wasn't clipped, was he?
All in all, a nice movie, but too long for it's content. They should have cut out some stuff, like at least 10 mins from the intro scene, then 10 mins from the restaurant scene (quite pointless had it not been for the dramatic encounter) and I would cut probably another ten from the pub scene.
I did expect a lot more action and killing, but there is almost no action at all. What is in there is decently brutal, I'll give it that. I blame my expectations for most of the movie faults, really.

Hugo Stiglitz was awesome and of the characters were pretty well played I mean like they weren't Oscar roles but they fit the movie very well. It was Tarantino style although not completely. Usually while watching his movies you are never bored there is always action and here it was different so I agree with mkey i might have been a bit shorter and t still would be cool. But mostly after the boring part there was something big to make it up for it. In overall it's worth the time to watch. |

The ending (the whole story actually) could have been done better, I shook my head in shame for the Nazi hunter, I couldn't believe how stupid he was... 5/10 |

#10 | | Member | I watched it recently and although the movie was pretty slick i couldnt get past the last 30 minutes. I mean they put 4 of the most important German leaders of the Nazi Regime in one Cinema and didnt completely lock down the entire town? Let people walk around the cinema with out any security checks? 2 Guards outside the Theatre room? It lost alot of credibility after that. Yeah its supposed to be an Alternate Universe but Hilter though a Mad Man wasnt stupid and would have never put himself at risk of assassination so easily. |
