Unexpected benefits!

Downloaded to get ATiTool working and discovered that enabling TestMode in DSEO cut my Win7 x64 boot times from 45 to 15 seconds! Before it used to stay at the "welcome" screen for around 30 seconds, now it just flashes past.

Any idea why it might have improved things for me? Are there any downsides to staying in Test Mode apart from the watermark?
