Can't sign file with DSEO

Hi,

I followed your guide to overclock my mouse:

How to Increase USB Sample Rate in Windows Vista/7

UAC is disabled, no dual boot, running Eset smart security (should not matter, haven't tried with it off)

The pictures are self explanatory. I first emailed this to the author. He emailed me the latest versions, the problem still persists.
As the driver is not signed this wouldn't matter as this has something to do with DSEO...

Make sure you put the correct path in DSEO. To verify, copy the .sys file to C:\ and try to sign it there.

How should I do this?

Put hidusbf.sys in C: and sign it with DSEO with C:\hidusbf.sys

How can I verify if it's signed correctly?

(also I assume caps or no caps doesn't matter when signing a file...)

Yes.

To verify: Right click on the file > Properties > Digital Signatures.
