Introduction:
Today thanks to
AeroCool USA,
we are happy to bring you our look at the stunning new ATX/BTX ready Masstige
Computer case. The Masstige offers a fully modular front panel design that
provides you with 10 tool-free 5.25" drive bays. This elegant enclosure
is available in 2 colors, Black (which we are reviewing) and Silver. In an
effort to differentiate themselves from other manufacturers, AeroCool have
reversed the internal motherboard tray which means that the panel that
contains the window is now located on the right hand side of the case instead
of the more common left side. This technique keeps all your internal wires
close to the motherboard tray, which should help keep things neat and tidy
providing increased airflow. The Masstige has 3x80mm intake fans on the
windowed side panel and 1x120mm Blue LED exhaust fan at the rear of the case.
The case also has a second 120mm fan holder located in the front for
additional air intake capabilities...

The Package:
Here is a look at the
box that the case was shipped in. The box looks like it had a rough trip from
California to Nova Scotia, but thankfully all the
contents were safe from any damage.
The Chassis:
As you can see from the
images below, despite the rough ride everything is intact and looking good. I
like the metal mesh removable front bezels; they offer good airflow, good
looks and lots of room for expansion. The windowed side panel sports 3 x 80mm
transparent intake fans. Once again this will help improve airflow and
maintain good overall system temperatures.
