Here are the new AM2+ motherboards from Asus and Gigabyte: Asus M3A32-MVP Deluxe Asus M3A32-MVP Deluxe/Wifi-AP Gigabyte DS4, DS5 and DQ6
As you can see the AM2+ boards are also compatible with AM2 cpus. So now we know AM2 works on AM2+ and AM2+ works on AM2. Of course the use of AM2+ cpus allows faster RAM depending on the motherboard.
